Bribery

The kids are out of school today because of parent/teacher conferences. (Which, by the way, our conference was scheduled for 7:15 AM!)Anyway...my mom and I came up with a really devious way to keep the kids happy, get them to do their chores and keep them from fighting with each other. We're opening the 'Wixom Movie Theater' tonight. There will be tickets issued to well behaved children and a concession stand where they may purchase various treats and junk. They earn points for stuff throughout the day. If they do their chores without complaining - a point! If they help without being asked - another point! If they speak kindly to each other - whoopee! Another point! The more points they accumulate, the more junk they can purchase. So far Abbey's beating everyone - she has 9 points. We'll have M&M's, Swedish Fish, cookies, popcorn and soda. Good times.
