I love Santa Claus!!! He's a wonderfully kind man who loves my kids. This week he even wrote them letters. We had written him a very long letter thanking him for his generosity last year and letting him know what was on the kid's wish lists for this year and he sent his replies this week. He knows what they're doing at school and at home. He even knew that Abbey knows how to climb up the refrigerator! He is SO SMART!!! I thought that Emma's eyes were going to pop out of her head when he mentioned her second grade teacher by name. It was great! The kids were very excited to see that they were remembered and that he is so interested in them. It was also nice to remind them that he can see what they're up to and helped to reinforce to them that they need to be nice to each other. So, Thank You Santa!!! We love you very much and are grateful for the time you took to remember the kids.
Please know that we truly to teach our children what the true meaning of Christmas is all about and that is first on our priorities on Christmas Eve and on Christmas morning. Christ is the center of our home and is very much an important part or our lives. We love Him and are so thankful for His life and the things He has done for each of us. This year we're also trying to teach our children about charity and helping their fellow man. Christmas Eve will be a wonderful experience for the kids this year - we'll tell you more about it in another blog.
