10 going on 18

Monkey #1 is the oldest monkey at the zoo (in case you couldn't tell by her status at the #1 Monkey). She is sure that she's an 18 year old mostly grown adult stuck in a 10 year old's body. She knows absolutely EVERYTHING and is trying desperately to convince the rest of the world how mature she is. She thinks that she is the manager of the rest of the zoo, tries to cook the other animals breakfast at least 3 to 4 times a week, chores are even beneath her because she's too important to do them!

Today she decided that she needed to dress herself up a bit by adding a little pizazz to her appearance. I have to give her props because she was pretty creative in her Indian war paint ideas. She decided to take an ink pad from her "kid friendly" stamp/scrap booking kit, smear a bunch of it onto a blank piece of paper and then rub it onto her cheeks (and I'm pretty sure her lips too) to give her that oh so gorgeous hot pink glow! It's semi-permanent. There will be lots of scrubbing tomorrow morning before church.
